Three Loews hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort are adding nightly pop-up bars to their offerings.
Cocktails are going to be served from their Bellhop Bar from 5-7 p.m. daily. The Bellhop Bar is a “steamer trunk full of libations in antique apothecary-style bottles.” Guests will hear an “opening bell” to announce that the bar is open for the evening. This steamer-trunk bar will be available beginning in late October through mid-January at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
Angel’s Envy Bourbon and Hangar One Vodka will be available in addition to a red and sparkling wine from The Count by Buena Vista Winery and Conundrum.
Each hotel will serve their own special cocktail as follows:
- Loews Portofino Bay Hotel’s “Magari No. 2” cocktail featuring Hangar One Vodka, lemon juice, Limoncello and basil leaves. The Bellhop Bar will be located in Bar American on the lobby level.
- Loews Sapphire Falls Resort’s “Island Envy” cocktail with Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Fee Brothers orange bitters and Demerara syrup. The Bellhop Bar will be located in Strong Water Tavern on the lobby level.
- Loews Royal Pacific Resort’s “Royal Lycheetini” cocktail with Hangar One Vodka, raspberries, Lychee juice and lemon juice. The Bellhop Bar will be located in Orchid Court Lounge on the lobby level.
“As we enter into the extended holiday season, we wanted to create a cocktail promotion that evokes a wistful affection for the past, helps guests toast the season of celebrations and is aligned with our food & beverage point of view at Loews,” said Mark Weiss, Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage for Loews Hotels & Co. in a news release. “The Bellhop Bar by Loews Hotels delivers a thoughtfully unscripted experience for our guests, nodding to the adventures of travelers from eras ago, and providing them with an opportunity to indulge in locally-handcrafted cocktails across the portfolio.”
