Dates have been revealed for Orlando’s premiere event highlighting all things Hogwarts. A Celebration of Harry Potter will be returning to Universal Orlando from January 26th – 28th, 2018.
According to Universal the event, which showcases J.K. Rowling’s massively popular series of books and films, will feature “film talent Q&A sessions, special panels, demonstrations and new surprises.”
Although no announcement has been made as to which Potter film alumni may be present for this year’s Celebration, the event has a history of bringing in recognizable names. Notable Potter performers to appear at last year’s Celebration were Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), and Warwick Davis (Filius Flitwick/Griphook). 2016’s Celebration also saw Matthew Lewis, as well as Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Katie Leung (Cho Chang), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood).
The event will take place at both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Admission to the event is included with park admission. Potter fans wanting to experience all event elements will require a park-to-park ticket, with special events available only with a vacation package.
All vacation packages include hotel accommodations, park-to-park tickets (with the exception of the passholder package), and special access to event activities. A Celebration of Harry Potter Premium Vacation Package starts at $599, the standard Celebration Vacation Package starts at $285, the Florida Resident Vacation Package starts at $259, and the Passholder Vacation Package starts at $189. All prices are tax inclusive, per adult, per night.
