Four Horror Icons to be featured at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights

It was already announced that Universal Studios Hollywood would be getting houses based off of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween 2, but now the west coast has a new reason to celebrate – Freddy Kreuger and Jason Voorhees are making their way to Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights.

Freddy vs. Jason will be based off of the 2003 film that brought the two icons together, and is the second time that Universal has built a house with Freddy and Jason battling each other. It was actually one of the most popular houses at Halloween Horror Nights 25 at Universal Studios Florida last year. It’s always interesting to see how these horror properties are handled on both coasts, because they are never replica houses and bring exciting and different scares.

This same standard will surely apply to Halloween: Hell Comes to Haddonfield and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Blood Brothers. Blood Brothers will pit guests against Leatherface and his “mentally unhinged” brother, Chop Top. Meanwhile, it’s great to hear that Michael Myers gets to come back for the second year in a row.

There are so many great icons this year and September 16 needs to hurry up and get here. And we almost forgot about The Exorcist house!
