The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle Debuts in January

Just recently, Universal teased that there would be many new announcements coming in 2018, including the announcement of a brand new projection show on Hogwarts Castle at Islands of Adventure. Well, it didn’t take too long because we now have the details on the show! The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle will officially debut on Wednesday, January 31 and will then run February 5, and February 7 through February 12. Additional dates will be announced at a later time. A preview will occur during A Celebration of Harry Potter on January 27 and January 28. If you booked the special vacation package for the event weekend, you’ll get to see the show on January 26!

This show is the exact same one that ran at Universal Studios Hollywood in Summer 2017. The show features the music of the Harry Potter film and you’ll see the spirit of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Just like the Christmas show on Hogwarts Castle, expect this show to start at dusk on the nights that it’s running, but the best time to view it will be closer to closing time.
