Delivering a high level of service with an atmosphere of exotic adventure, Royal Pacific easily appeals to adults who are looking for an elegant experience. This should not discourage other demographics though. Royal Pacific’s offerings also easily appeal to families with children. Here, we’ve listed five things at Royal Pacific that are there to make your stay an experience your family will enjoy.
POOL WITH INTERACTIVE WATER AREA
The lagoon-inspired pool area is extremely inviting for children. With zero-entry, it makes wading for infants and toddlers feasible. The gradual increase in depth also provides a feeling of security for kids who may not want to take a plunge into deeper waters. Those that need a bit more activity will take pleasure in a large, interactive water area that sits at the far end of the pool. With features that dump water from overhead and water guns that shoot objects within range, this area is a hot spot for active kids.
TORCH LIGHTING CEREMONY
On select evenings, the light torching ceremony is an activity that proves to be entertaining and a lot of fun for families. It starts with a Polynesian male who puts on a brief show with a flaming baton. Once he has gathered a crowd, he ceremoniously lights a single torch that sits near the main pool. A female hula dancer immediately follows by collecting children volunteers for a hula lesson in the sandy beach that surrounds the pool. Children often giggle as they wiggle, and parents smile as they look on. It makes for some very memorable vacation video footage.
All Loews Hotels provide an outdoor movie on select evenings. Royal Pacific is among those. Within the pleasant environment of an elegant pool during dusk, families will enjoy gathering in front of a large outdoor screen and losing themselves in a blockbuster hit from the convenience of a lounge chair. Schedules and movie selections can be obtained at the front desk.
On select mornings and evenings, Royal Pacific offers character dining. Island’s Dining Room hosts the character breakfasts on Sunday mornings and then pulls the night shift with character dining on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Paying the price of an all-you-can-eat buffet, families not only get to experience a tasty meal in an elegant space, but they also get some time to visit with a few of Universal’s characters (such as a few minions and the rabbits from Hop). Photos, autographs, and personal attention are all a part of the character dining experience. Kids and parents alike will love this particular offering at Royal Pacific.
MARINER’S KIDS CLUB
Sometimes what families need is a little time to indulge in activities that don’t include everyone in the party. Kids want to play video games, do crafts, and participate in organized activities. Mom and Dad want to have a quiet night together, holding hands, and enjoying a long meal. Both can be accomplished by reserving the service of Mariner’s Kids Club. After parents pay an hourly fee, children are free to have fun under careful, adult supervision while parents are free to do whatever it is that they want. Check ahead of time to see which nights Mariner’s Kids Club has availability.
