Universal Orlando went through a massive expansion in 1999 and needed hotel rooms to keep guests staying onsite. A partnership with Loews Hotels was formed and in 1999 Portofino Bay Hotel opened, followed by Hard Rock Hotel in 2000, Royal Pacific Resort in 2001 and Cabana Bay Beach Resort, the resort’s first value hotel, in 2014. In 2016, Loews and Universal will debut Sapphire Falls Resort, a Caribbean-themed moderate hotel right beside Royal Pacific Resort.
Staying on-site at a Loews Hotel offers many amenities, but the best by far is early park access. Every morning, hotel guests are welcome to enter Universal Studios Florida an hour before the park opens and experience everything that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has to offer. Guests staying at the deluxe resorts also receive Unlimited Express Passes, which eliminates most of your waits throughout the day.
Loews Hotels are well-known for accommodating guests bringing their pets on vacations and the deluxe hotels at Universal Orlando participate in this great program.
Stay at one of the Universal Orlando Loews Hotels and you will be sure to return and experience their world-class service again!
