Jack the Clown, 9 houses, 5 scare zones and more set for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights

hhn40Last week, information started to circulate on Twitter regarding an announcement for Halloween Horror Nights happening on May 19. Well, that announcement came around 11:00 AM and it is some great news, especially for long time Horror Nights fans

The biggest news by far is that legendary HHN icon Jack the Clown will be making a return appearance after being absent for a few years. Rumors started spreading about Jack’s return after a media kit was released following HHN 24 including a piece of orange hair. However, this will not be the Jack that fans are familiar with. Michael Aiello, Director of Creative Development for Entertainment at UOR, said,

“For fans who know his tale, you’ll notice he has escaped the shadow of Oddfellow completely. He has shed his old coat for something of his own design. His face is more weathered, more lived in.

Jack has come into his own, and he is eager to preside over the spectacle of it all—especially if that spectacle is filled with screams, blood and gore. He, most certainly, wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Also unveiled today was the updated Halloween Horror Nights Orlando website which includes a brief overview of some of the things in store for this year. It was already announced a while back that there would be an epic 30 nights of HHN, but now we also know there will be 9 houses, the largest amount in the history of Halloween Horror Nights. There will be 5 scare zones this year, with more scareactors than ever before, along with roaming hoards of characters and 2 shows.

No official details were given about the themes of the houses or scare zones, but with what we know right now it seems like Halloween Horror Nights 25 is set to be the greatest year for the event yet!
